This is a full-time position from Mon-Fri, 7:00AM-3:30PM.
Responsibilities:
- Operating CNC machines to produce custom architectural millwork and cabinet components
- CNC Programming (2D and 3D)
- Selecting, preparing and using tooling for CNC machining of solid wood or wood-based materials in the production of custom millwork
- Following provided production schedules and working with supplied documentation to ensure smooth and efficient flow of materials to and from the machining centre
- Usage of material handling equipment including vacuum lifts and lift tables
- Maintenance of CNC equipment to ensure safe and efficient long-term performance
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of CNC programming experience
- Great attitude and willingness to always learn and grow
- Taking on all challenges with passion, optimism, and a solution focused attitude
- Recent production experience PROGRAMMING and OPERATING a CNC machining centre to produce wood products or components preferably within a millwork or cabinet manufacturing operation
- Experience processing either solid wood or wood-based materials (such as plywood, MDF, particleboard)
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings
- Ability to maintain the safety of yourself and others at all times through best practices on the production floor and in the workplace in general
